In a bizarre incident in the UK last Wednesday, firefighters in Daventry, Northamptonshire ended up getting fooled after rushing to a hilarious scene of an emergency.
The firefighters had received multiple reports of "activations of a smoke alarm" and hence rushed to the spot. However, only after reaching did they realise that the alarms were in fact mimicked by a parrot. Commander Norman James reportedly said, "While we were doing this, we could still hear an alarm in the background and soon realised it was African Grey parrot Jazz continuing to do his excellent impression of a smoke alarm!"
Jazz's owner stated that the parrot loves to imitate things. He imitated the fire alarm following which the fire and rescue service was called. While a commotion ensued, Jazz sat in his cage laughing.
