According to reports, hundreds of civilians have been killed in the past week in the airstrikes by the Syrian government in the rebel-held suburb of capital Damascus. The airstrikes resumed hours after a 30-day ceasefire resolution passed by the UN Security Council on Saturday. More than 500 civilians were killed after Bashar al-Assad’s regime began the aerial bombardment campaign on February 18, said the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights.
