A strong earthquake measuring 6.4 on the Richter scale struck the northeastern city of Hualien on Tuesday killing at least six people and injuring 258 people, say reports. While dozens of people are feared missing, more than 40 were feared trapped in a tilted multistory building in the city, reports added. While aftershocks continued to shake on Wednesday, 600 military personnel and more than 750 firefighters were reportedly involved in rescue services.
