STRONG EARTHQUAKE HITS INDONESIA; TSUNAMI ALERT ISSUED!

Earlier on the fateful day in 2004, India faced a dreadful tsunami after earthquake hit Indonesia's Sumatra.

Earthquake has struck Indonesia's Maluku Islands at a magnitude of 7.4 after which tsunami alert has been issued.

The tremors were strong however, most of it occurred in costal area and hence expert says the chances for tsunami is low. No life loss has been reported.

“The house was visibly shaking, the quake was very strong and lasted for a while. We can still feel tremors but weaker,” told a resident.
