According to reports, Grammy Award-winning rapper Nelly was taken into police custody and booked on Saturday after a woman accused him of raping her on his tour bus. It is alleged that the rapper sexually assaulted the woman on the tour bus hours after his performance at the White River Amphitheater just east of Auburn, Washington. However, a lawyer for Nelly vehemently denied the charges and reportedly said Nelly “is the victim of a completely fabricated allegation.” Notably, the rapper has received 12 Grammy nominations and won three Grammy awards, including for best rap solo performance in 2003, reports added.
