PLANE WITH 139 ON BOARD SKIDS OFF RUNWAY IN NEPAL

A Kuala Lumpur-bound Malindo Air aircraft with 139 people on board skidded off the runway late on Thursday at Tribhuvan International Airport in Kathmandu, Nepal. The plane got stuck in mud forcing the airport to shut down for over 12 hours. However, international flight operations resumed on Friday after the plane was moved. Fortunately, none was hurt in the incident.
