According to reports, a man in Iowa, US, was accidentally shot by his pet dog when both of them were playing on Wednesday. 51-year-old Richard Remme of Fort Dodge reportedly said he was tossing his dog Balew off his lap as it kept jumping back. According to him, Balew must have disabled the safety on the gun in his belly band on one jump and the next time it bounced back, it must have stepped on the trigger.
After 9mm pistol fired striking one of his legs, he called the emergency and said, “My dog shot me.” He was treated at a hospital and later discharged that day. Remme reportedly said that the dog laid down beside him, after the gunshot and cried because he thought he had done something wrong.
