The airport can be a frustrating place at times. With cancelled/delayed flights, lost luggage, gate changes, passengers are often forced to lose their cool.
In a similar incident, a Pakistani passenger was seen setting his own luggage on fire at the Islamabad airport. According to reports, the man was frustrated after his flight 7 AM Pakistan International Airlines flight (PIA) from Islamabad International Airport to Gilgit was cancelled.
The flight was initially delayed due to technical problems, but was eventually cancelled due to bad weather.
A video of the man setting his luggage on fire has gone viral on social media. It shows an unnamed man igniting a cloth from his travel bag. He then uses the same piece of clothing to set fire to a pile of other clothes.
After the man set his luggage on fire, an airport official comes up to him and tries to douse the fire but gets thwarted away. Moments later, a security official confronts the man and the fire gets eventually put out by Civil Aviation Authority firefighters.
