"MANY, NOT EVEN PRETENDING TO BE IN CHARGE," OBAMA ATTACKS OFFICIALS IN TRUMP ADMINISTRATION OVER HANDLING OF PANDEMIC CRISIS!
Home > News Shots > WorldAs US leads with the highest number of confirmed cases and death, Barack Obama indirectly criticized US President Donald Trump during a graduation ceremony.
"More than anything this pandemic has fully, finally torn back the curtain on the idea that so many of the folks in charge know what they're doing. A lot of them aren't even pretending to be in charge," Obama said during an online commencement address to graduates of historically black colleges and universities (HBCUs) on Saturday.
During the event, Obama also discussed the implications of the pandemic without naming any specific leader. In his speech, he highlighted how the health crisis has decreased in America during this critical time.
Not forgetting, he also expressed an outrage at the shooting death of 25-year-old Ahmaud Arbery, who was killed on February 23 while out for a jog in Georgia.
"A disease like this just spotlights the underlying inequalities and extra burdens that black communities have historically had to deal with in this country. Our communities. Just as we see it when a black man goes for a jog and some folks feel like they can stop and question, and shoot him, if he doesn't submit to their question," Obama further added.
