TENSION HEIGHTENS: NORTH KOREA BRANDS SOUTH KOREA AS 'ENEMY', CUT OFF LINKS!

North Korea has announced on Tuesday, that the country will cut all military and political communication links with “enemy” South Korea.

North Korea began threatening after the inter-Korean ties stayed at a standstill despite three summits between North Korean leader and South Korean President in 2019.

"Will completely cut off and shut down the liaison line between the authorities of the North and the South, which has been maintained through the North-South joint liaison office," including other communication links "from 12:00 on June 9, 2020," Korean Central News Agency said.

The links include “the East and West seas communication lines”, “trial communication line” and a hotline between the central Committee of the Workers’ Party of North Korea and Presidential Blue House of South Korea, reported Korean Central News Agency.
