Sureel Dabawala, a 34-year-old Indian woman who went missing in Illinois, United States, for more than two weeks, was found dead in a car trunk, reports Hindustan Times. Dabawala was reported to be missing by her family after she failed to return to her home in Schaumburg, Illinois on December 30.
Local newspapers reported as saying that Dabawala had visited a local gym to exercise, post which she was never seen again. On Monday, the Chicago Police Department had reported saying that remains of Dabawala was discovered from the vehicle she owned. It is still not clear as to what exactly happened.
The deceased was found to be dead once the car trunk was opened and was wrapped in a blanket. Local media cites that Dabawala, an MBA graduate from the University of Chicago was working at a medical centre managed by her father, who is a doctor.
