In a shocking and bizarre case, two contestants tripped and fell during the Miss Universe 2019 swimsuit competition which was held in Atlanta, Georgia on December 8.
Other than the two there were few others who also fell on the stage and thankfully nobody got badly hurt during the show.
According to The South African report, Miss France and Miss Malaysia both fell on the wet stage suddenly and left the organisers shocked.
Highlighting about the incident, Maeva Coucke, Miss France 2018 tripped and fell on the runway as she walked in a bikini with a blue cape.
Later in the day, she shared a video of the accident on her social media handle saying that "Last night I experienced the worst obsession of a Miss: falling on stage... and the lesson I draw from it is that falling and standing up is the very essence of a woman's life, the main thing is to move forward regardless of obstacles."
Meanwhile, Malaysia's 22-year-old Shweta Sekhon also slipped during the swimsuit round. The much awaited news comes now as, Miss South Africa Zozibini Tunzi was crowned Miss Universe 2019.
