VIDEO VIRAL: MEDICAL STAFF WITH FULL BODY SUIT DANCE WITH CORONAVIRUS PATIENTS IN HOSPITAL
Home > News Shots > WorldAmid the outbreak and number of deaths due to Coronavirus, medical staff at a makeshift hospital in the central Chinese city of Wuhan dance with patients to entertain them and keep their spirits high.
The medical staff can be seen in full protective body suits, gloves and masks with patients in a hospital.
A video was published by People’s Daily where medical staff can be seen with mask at an unidentified makeshift hospital in Wuhan. The video was also shared by state broadcaster CCTV after which it went viral on social media.
According China News Service report, Chen Xiaoyan, chief nurse at Zhongnan hospital of Wuhan University said "we hope to make the atmosphere more active by taking patients to do some breathing exercises and dancing occasionally."
"Patients may be in a bad mood with the unfamiliar environment after being admitted to the hospital. Besides, there are so many patients living together, so they may feel nervous and spend a long time in bed," Chen further added.
The coronavirus first broke out in China's city Wuhan and has spread like wild fire across the world. Till date, it had resulted in more than 42,000 confirmed cases across the country and more than 1,000 deaths. Watch the video below:
