A powerful earthquake with magnitude 7.1 jolted the Central mexico. At least 224 people were killed and a number of buildings were collapsed, say media reports. Just hours before the earthquake, people reportedly participated in drills and memorial events for the on the anniversary of the devastating earthquake that killed thousands in Mexico City in 1985, the same day.
