WATCH - MAN SAVES BOY DANGLING FROM 10TH FLOOR OF APARTMENT

In a daring rescue, a man in Kazakhstan saved a 10-year-old boy who was dangling from the 10th floor of a high rise apartment on Monday.

The boy was apparently left unattended by his parents. He had wanted to go out for a walk when he found to his dismay that the main door was locked and decided to climb down the window.

Anxious neighbours who saw the boy's act were ready with a mattress downstairs to catch him in case his balance went off but thankfully needn't have to do so after a neighbour identified as Artyom Karev came to the boy's rescue and caught him from one storey below.

Artyom Karev was offered money by the state authorities for his daring act of rescue but he declined the same and instead decided to donate it to charity.

24 сентября, Астана, Победа-Джангильдина. С балкона 10-го этажа чуть было не сорвался ребенок. Благо в последнюю секунду его удалось поймать жителю из нижней квартиры. Как ребенок оказался в такой ситуации пока неизвестно.
