According to reports, a man was fined $37 in Southwest China's Guizhou Province after video of him allowing his 1-year-old daughter to drive a car went viral. The child, sitting on her father’s lap, turns multiple times to look at her mother in the passenger seat. The man told officers that he had placed his daughter on his lap because her crying and screaming proved too much for his pregnant wife to handle. He also claimed to have been holding the wheel with his left hand the whole time and did not know his wife was taking video. The man also had five points deducted from his license for the violation, say reports.
