A kitten born with a rare condition termed as diprosopus, meaning she has two faces. Despite that, the kitten is defying all odds and is currently four months old. She is also having an amazing progress in health including eating on her own with both of her mouths.
The cat is currently adopted by Dr Ralph Tran, a veterinarian, who named her Duo.
According to The Daily Mail report, the vet's friend called him one day and said that the cat had given birth to kittens, in which one was suffering from diprosopus. Initially, it was difficult to feed the kitten which forced him to feed her by tube every five hours.
Actually, the kitten's central eye needs to be removed surgically only after she gains enough weight to undergo anaesthesia.
"Each face wants to eat and doesn't wait for the other to finish. She still needs to gain another 300 grams or so before she will have surgery. This is to ensure she is big and strong enough to safely handle the anaesthesia and procedure. In the meantime, the middle eye causes her minimal to no discomfort and she gets eye lubricant regularly," Tran wrote on Facebook post.
