In a shocking incident, a Dubai court sentenced two Indian men and a woman to 517 years each in jail for cheating thousands of people in a multi-million-dollar fraud case, reported a UAE based media.
The chief executive of a forex trading company in Dubai, Sydney Lemos, from Mapusa in north Goa and his wife Valany and Ryan D’Souza were convicted on Sunday. Investors reportedly lost about $200 million as the company failed to pay the promised returns.
