HYDERABAD COUPLE FOUND DEAD IN A FATAL CAR ACCIDENT; 8-YEAR-OLD DAUGHTER LEFT ALONE

The married couple Gavini Raja (41) and Divya Avula (34) moved to the US after completing their studies in Hyderabad. The couple along with one other person have lost their lives in a car crash at Frisco in San Francisco on Sunday, reports TNM.

The incident has left the couple's 8-year-old daughter who was at the dance class alone. Reportedly the couple was driving back after dropping their daughter at the dance class. The 3rd person in the car was identified as 42-year-old Premnath Ramatham. The reports say that the person who drove the other car involved in the accident was a juvenile.

"The initial investigation shows that a black Ford F-150 was traveling north on FM (Farm to Market Road) 423 and struck a black Acura that was attempting to make a turn from FM 423 to Del Webb. The driver and two passengers of the Acura were pronounced dead at the scene. The juvenile driver of the Ford was transported to a local hospital and treated for non-life-threatening injuries," the police said in a press release as quoted by TNM. 

According to the report, the Telugu Association of North America (TANA) was working with the Consulate General of India in Houston to help the families and friends of the deceased complete all formalities before the bodies are flown back to Hyderabad.
