Jamaat ud Dawah, a banned terrorist outfit in Pakistan, on Monday, launched a political party named Milli Muslim League. The outfit’s chief Hafiz Saeed, who is the mastermind behind the 2008 Mumbai attacks, has been under house arrest since January. Saifullah Khalid, a close associate of Saeed, is said to be the president of the newly floated party. He reportedly said, “We demand an immediate release of Hafiz Saeed. Once he is released, we will seek his guidance and ask what role he wants in this political party”.
