A legislation that proposes to increase the allotment of green cards by 45 percent has been introduced in the US House of Representatives. Reports say, if it becomes a law it will increase the allotment of green cards from the present 1,20,000 to 1,75,000 per year and will benefit the Indian techies who come to US through H1-B visa and opt for green cards.
