Chinese capital Beijing is reportedly planning to build charge points for electric vehicles (EV) for every 900-meter radius in the city by 2020. While the city currently has 90,000 public charging stations, the demand has been growing due to more EVs hitting the road. More than 80,000 EVs hit the road in June in the city. Currently, a charge point can be found within a 5-kilometer radius.
