Edward Snowden, a former CIA contractor who exposed the US National Security Agency's internet and phone surveillance a few years ago, re-tweeted a journalist’s response to a report on the breach of the Aadhaar database in India adding that "It is the natural tendency of government to desire perfect records of private lives.
