Disney on Thursday announced plans for a new “Star Wars” trilogy and live-action TV series. During an earnings meeting, the company’s CEO, Bob Iger, announced that director Rian Johnson will take the new films. Reportedly, the new trilogy will feature completely new characters. The live-action “Star Wars” TV series is expected to go on air in Disney’s entertainment streaming service that is expected to launch by the end of 2019.
