According to reports, a dead body of a man was found hanging in Jaipur’s Nahargarh fort on Friday with a rock nearby that suggestively contained messages against ‘Padmavati’ film. The message in the rock reads in Hindi, “Padmavati ka virodh (in opposition to Padmavati).” The dead man is a 40-year-old local jeweller named Chetan Saini who left home on Thursday afternoon. NDTV reported that the graffiti included the warning: “We don't burn effigies, we hang them.” Police reportedly said a probe is on to find if it was a suicide or a murder.
