AMID CORONAVIRUS OUTBREAK, FEW COUNTRIES STILL NOT AFFECTED BY IT: DETAILS LISTED!

The rapidly spreading coronavirus has affected more than 7,00,000 people and also claimed more than 35,000 lives so far. Despite the measures and lockdown in most of the countries, the deadly virus is spreading across the world like wild fire.
Highlighting about the names of few of the places which has still not been affected are:
- Palau island: it is in the northern Pacific. It has a population of 18,000, but has still not reported a single COVID-19 positive case. This place, Palau is surrounded by the vast Pacific.
- After strict travel restrictions, nations in the region including Tonga, the Solomon Islands, the Marshall Islands and Micronesia have helped in keeping the virus away.
- Other places like Samoa, Turkmenistan, North Korea and the Antarctica have also not been affected.
As per AFP news agency, United Airlines which used to fly six times a week nearby Guam has just one flight a week. Meanwhile, the only virus free continent today is Antarctica.
Highlighting about India, so far it has recorded the highest single-day spike in fresh cases of novel coronavirus with the number crossing 1,300. Meanwhile, the death toll due to COVID-19 has reached 38.
Talking about other countries, Italy, has extended an economically crippling lockdown until mid-April to fight coronavirus infections that have claimed 11,591 lives.
