‘KADHAL KOTTAI’ KIND OF HI-SPEED DIGITAL REAL LOVE STORY. WHERE DOES IT END?

Among the various angles of Love, the 1996 film ‘Kadhal Kottai’ is one where the male and female leads get into a relationship just by sending postal letters and even without looking at each other in person until the climax. In a recent new-age real-life love story at the US,  postal letters could be replaced with Hi-Speed internet for the mode of communication while the content sharing platform was Instagram instead of letter sheet.

As per News 18, the story began in 2016 when the woman Elle Howley got a random Instagram message saying, "im gonna dm u pick of my gundam (sic)" Gundams are robots from a popular Japanese animation series which she already knows. However, Elle had probably confused about how would someone send her a robot.

But to her surprise, the guy sent her a picture of the Gundam Robot made for her via Instagram a few days after sending her a message.  A month later, Elle had met the guy named John Grasso and expressed her wish to marry him through twitter. Reportedly the New Jersey couple got engaged in 2017, eloped on August 1, 2018, and got married in a small ceremony at a hotel in San Francisco.

"Our parents knew of our elopement, so I guess it wasn't exactly us running away - but we wanted to do something memorable!," Elle was quoted as saying by BBC. Interestingly, Elle was not the only woman who got impressed with Gundam robot. There were also a few other women who met their dream partner and got married because of Gundam Robots.
