Controversial music video: Singer jailed for ‘indecency’

A court in Egypt has reportedly sentenced a singer to two years in jail as she was found guilty of publishing an ‘indecent’ film. Shyama, an Egyptian singer was arrested last month after her music video stirred outrage across the country. Reports say, the director of the video was also arrested and sentenced to two years in jail.
