WOMAN DEVELOPS RARE CONDITION WHERE SHE CANNOT HEAR MEN

A woman from China developed a rare condition where she is unable to hear men. Reportedly, the woman is suffering from a very rare condition where she cannot hear deeper sounds, especially that of men.

Chen woke up one morning and could not hear the voice of her boyfriend. She had earlier gone to bed with nausea and ringing in her ears. After going to the doctors, it was found that she was diagnosed with a condition called as reverse-slope hearing loss', where she could only hear high frequencies.

Chen was able to hear every word that her ENT specialist was saying but when a male nurse walked in, she could not hear him. The condition could have been triggered due to stress. The condition is so rare that only one in 13,000 people suffer from it.
