China will intervene if US strikes North Korea first: Chinese media

State-run Chinese daily Global Times has said that China will intervene if the US strikes first and attempts to overthrow the North Korean regime. It also warned that China will not come to North Korea’s rescue if Pyongyang launches missiles that “threaten US soil first and the US retaliates”. It also warned both Washington and Pyongyang saying, “when their actions jeopardise China's interests, China will respond with a firm hand.”
