China Aerospace Science and Industry Corp has revealed plans to build country’s first hyperspeed train that could travel up to 4000 kmph. It’s one of the first companies in the world to propose this kind of supersonic near-ground transportation system. It will travel 10 times faster than a traditional high-speed train, and five times faster than present-day passenger aircraft. The train’s development will be done in three stages with target speeds for each stage being 1,000 kmph, 2,000 kmph and 4,000 kmph.
