South Africa’s Cape Town is suffering from severe drought for the past three years and is expected to run out of water with about 90 days left before supplies hit critical levels. The water supply to the city will be stopped when the water level at the city dams reach 13.5%. Now the water level stands at 30%. People in the city with a population of 4 million are advised to use no more than 50 litres of water per person per day.
