There is a popular comical track played by comedy legend Vadivelu where he would go to a police station and register a complaint saying his ‘water well’ went missing. A similar kind of incident happened in China in which a building was seen floating on the river. A twitter user had captured the video and uploaded it online which went viral later.
People who have watched the video were puzzled and began wondering about the possibility of such an event in reality. The video might let the viewers think that it could be VFX or any graphic work but it real. The scenic bird-eye view has taken the viewers by awe. However, there was no panic outside the city as people commute regularly on the parallel road and flyover above.
The cruising building was captured alongside the Yangtze River which is the Longest River in Asia and third longest river in the World. It is also the longest river in the World which flows entirely within one country. But wait, in the Vadivelu’s comedy track mentioned above, the “water well” would not be found and remain as a mystery. Here, while people adored the puzzling yet one of its kind incident, the twitter user ‘Massimo’ who uploaded the video had something to reveal through a caption.
Massimo had written, “Things that happen in China. A five-story "building" was spotted cruising along the Yangtze River back in November 2018. The "building" was actually a floating restaurant. Authorities said the restaurant needed to relocate due to policies changes”. You read it right. The floating restaurant was not found in its previous location and had to be moved to a new place by a pair of boats since it had no power.
