Slamming the rumours that said that Sherin Mathews’ body will be sent to India, the officials reportedly said that the body has only been released by the Dallas County medical examiner's office and that they have not decided whom to hand it over to. Reportedly, the girl’s mother is the one who has to decide on the funeral as her father is serving a jail term. Sherin Mathews went missing on October 7 and her body was discovered near her home on October 22. He father, who adopted her from an orphanage in India, confessed to witnessing the girl choke to death while consuming milk.
