AT LEAST 3 DEAD, 7 INJURED IN MASS SHOOTING IN NEW ORLEANS

According to reports, at least three people have been killed and seven others were injured after a mass shooting incident in the US city of New Orleans. The incident occurred on the 3400 block of Claiborne Avenue, about three miles from the French Quarter, around 8.30pm local time on Saturday.
The injured were reportedly taken to hospital. While three were taken by ambulance, the four remaining arrived by private rides. The New Orleans Advocate said that the shooting happened in the vicinity of Jazz Daiquiris & Lounge, which has been the site of gang violence in the past.
The immediate condition of the shooting is not known yet. Reports suggest that officials have rushed to the spot and are gathering information. More information on the tragic incident is awaited.
