Albert Einstein\'s private diaries reveal racist notions against Asians

Recently, Albert Einstein's private diaries of his tours in Asia were published and shocking revelations were made. It was revealed that Einstein held racist notions against the people he met. His writings contain accounts of his travel to Asia between October 1922 and March 1923.

Einstein had reportedly described Chinese as "industrious, filthy, obtuse people." He had even called the children "spiritless and obtuse." His writings are contradictory to the humanitarian icon that was painted to the public. Reportedly, Einstein never intended for his writings to be published.

Einstein had also given a brief description of Indians. He reportedly believed that Indians are "biologically inferior." He had written that it was the subcontinent's climate that hindered the thinking process of Indians and wrote, "Wouldn't we too, in this climate, become like Indians?"
