A powerful earthquake measuring 6.2 magnitude on Richter scale struck Mexico on Saturday morning in the southern state of Oaxaca, said the U.S. Geological Survey. However, it reportedly added that there is a “low likelihood of casualties and damage.” Moreover, the quake was much weaker than the magnitude 7.1 earthquake that hit on Tuesday, killing at least 295 people, reports say.
