A shocking incident reported in Colorado, the USA had an 8-year-old boy fighting for his life after he was attacked by a mountain lion. The boy was living in his father's backyard house when the incident happened. In the NBC video, the boy is seen talking about the incident.

Reportedly, the boy's father told that his son's head was inside the Lion's mouth at one point. The little boy was brave enough to fight back with the lion by using a stick. However, the stick got broke and the boy had to use his instincts to save his life.

The boy was identified as Pike Carlson and his father Ron Carlson was alarmed when he got the news via his oldest son Cage. Ron rushed to the spot and had to involve himself to save his son's life. "When I first picked him up, I could see the whole side of his face was open".

"There was blood all over him. His scalp was ripped open in several spots. It was something that no parent should ever see." Ron was quoted as saying by News 18. The boy was then taken to the hospital where he had to undergo two surgeries. The doctors also treated the boy's injuries with dozens of stitches.
