On Friday, the police in Northern China, rescued a 79-year-old lady who was partially paralyzed from a grave, where she was buried alive. She was rescued after she had spent three full days, covered in dust.
She was buried by her son, who was reportedly fed-up of having to take care of her. The Man’s wife filed a complaint with the police as her husband had carried his mother away on May 02 in a wheelbarrow, after which she didn’t return home.
The police have said that she was faintly calling out for help and is traumatised by the incident. The accused has been charged with attempt to murder.
Since the omplaint was filed, the 58-yer-old accused surnamed Ma was withheld by the police. The China Daily newspaper and other outlets which reporting on the case cited that a police statement that was not made available online. Only when an official was reached by phone at the Jingbian county prosecutor’s office, did they confirm that an investigation was underway.
