In a shocking case, at least four people were killed and several others injured in a shooting at a Halloween party near San Francisco.
According to NBC Bay Area news, the incident happened at a rented Airbnb home around Thursday night in Orinda, around 17 miles (30 km) northeast of San Francisco.
The shooting took place on a early Halloween evening as the girl was walking with her family and other trick-or-treaters along a street in the Little Village neighbourhood.
Meanwhile, Chicago Police told media that a group of males were chasing another male along the street when someone in the group fired at the victim. It is not known if the wounded man was with the girl or was the one targeted by the shooters.
The police further stated that there is a surveillance camera near the crime scene which will help solve the matter.
Also, the Contra Costa County sheriff’s office tweeted saying that "Orinda homicide update - four fatalities, several injuries". This is a developing story.
