In a first, Lieutenant Colonel Sophia Qureshi from the Signal Corps of the Indian Army is leading an Army contingent at Force 18, an international military exercise, which is conducted at Pune from March 2 to 8. She is the only woman leader of a contingent among the 17 countries taking part in the Field Exercise.
