World number five and seven-time Wimbledon champion Roger Federer defeated Ukraine’s Alexandr Dolgopolov 6-3, 3-0(retired) in the Round of 128 fixture in the 2017 Wimbledon on Tuesday. This came after Dolgopolov quit with an ankle injury after 43 minutes. Federer, who served a career record of 10,000 aces during the first set, recorded his 85th single's win at Wimbledon. Meanwhile, world number two Novak Djokovic progress after a calf injury saw Martin Klizan pull out at 6-2, 2-0 down on 40 minutes.
