Reacting to the attack on filmmaker Sanjay Leela Bhansali at the shooting spot of his film Padmavati, fellow filmmaker Hansal Mehta tweeted, "I will not rise for the national anthem before a film." Blaming India’s political environment as the reason behind the attack on cultural freedom, Mehta further tweeted, "F**k you Karni Sena & your ilk."
