Deepa Jayakumar, the niece of former CM J Jayalalithaa, on Tuesday asserted that she was not afraid of AIADMK general secretary VK Sasikala and would be contesting the elections. Deepa also added that she was unsure whether she would contest against VK Sasikala. Further, she said that her aim is to carry the legacy left by her aunt and make Tamil Nadu as Asia’s best state. When asked about the press conference given by Apollo doctors and Richard Beale, Deepa said the doctors should have spoken soon after her aunt’s demise. Notably, Deepa had earlier stated that she is set to make a major announcement on February 24.
