Reacting to VK Sasikala’s press conference, Tamil Nadu CM O Panneerselvam on Sunday claimed that he was harassed and tortured all these years, and it was only late Dr. J Jayalalithaa who had stood by him. Further, Panneerselvam questioned why was Deepa Jayakumar, the niece of the former Tamil Nadu CM  was not allowed to see Amma's body at Rajaji Hall.
