According to pro-wrestling journalist Dave Meltzer, the Undertaker was reportedly lobbying for his last WWE match against John Cena at WrestleMania 33, a match that has been rumoured to take place every year, but failed to do so. However, the idea was shut down by WWE owner Vince Mcmahon, as he wanted to push Roman Reigns as Taker’s opponent. Notably, the Undertaker symbolically announced his retirement after his loss to Reigns at WrestleMania 33 on Sunday.
