Some of the AIADMK legislators have reportedly said that they were not kidnaped and they were staying together in their own will. According to reports, Murugumaran, Geetha, Jayanthi Padmanabhan and five other legislators who were staying in Golden Bay beach resort met the media and claimed that they had not been kidnapped. Reports also added that the MLAs switched off their phones as they were receiving calls from unknown people.
