The Maharashtra government on Wednesday reportedly said that global retail giant Walmart would create 30,000 direct and indirect jobs in the state as the company is set to open 15 outlets in the state. Reportedly, the stores with an investment of Rs 900 crore will be functional in the next two years. Development Commissioner (Industries) Harshadeep Kamble reportedly added, “The state government would grant single-window clearances for this investment.”
