Finance Minister Arun Jaitley on Wednesday reportedly said that the airport in Andhra Pradesh's Vijayawada would be developed as an international airport after a Cabinet approval for the same was given. The Amravati airport had a 61% growth in passenger movement in 2016-17 fiscal and one of the biggest airport in the state. Notably, Vijayawada is a part of Andhra capital.
