While Tamil Nadu is sweating with political crisis, MDMK general secretary Vaiko has reportedly joined school students to remove Seemai Karuvelam trees near his hometown Kalingapatti. Recently, Madras High Court directed to remove the weeds of the invasive trees, also known as ‘prosopsis juliflora’, as they are considered harmful to nature, cattle and human beings.
